The Weather Gods Shine On Us

A society grows great
when old men plant trees
in whose shade they know
they shall never sit.
-Greek Proverb

We had yet another sunny day.  Perfect for learning how to plant natives at the Mahoe Reserve from our expert botanist, Dr. Meurk, and have a go at it ourselves.  It takes patience and strength to dig through the rocks!  In all, 160 native plants went in the ground to help with restoration efforts.
We found some interesting bits and bobs in what was the old dump site.
Later, we learned how to make whipped cream, and celebrated a classmate's birthday with Pavlova and L&P.
